Your vibe-coded site looks finished. Google still sends almost nobody.
Pretty UI and decent copy are not enough. These are the technical SEO gaps we keep finding in AI-built sites — and how to close them in days, not months.

When organic traffic is flat, founders often blame the niche or the copy. On vibe-coded sites the blocker is usually technical: Google cannot crawl, understand, or trust the page the way a human can in a browser.
None of the issues below require a six-month content programme. Most can be cleaned in a focused week once you know what to look for.
1. Make sure Google can actually fetch the page
Client-only renders, blocked resources, accidental noindex tags, and messy robots.txt rules still show up in AI scaffolds. Use URL Inspection and the rendered HTML view — not only the local preview.
2. Unique titles and meta that match intent
Default templates often repeat the brand name on every route or leave empty descriptions. Every indexable URL needs a distinct title and meta description that describe the page, not the framework.
3. One clear H1 and honest heading hierarchy
Assistants love decorative headings and multiple H1s. Search engines and accessibility tools both prefer one primary heading and nested sections that match the outline of the content.
4. Canonicals, trailing slashes, and duplicate URLs
Preview domains, www/non-www mixes, and parameter URLs create soft duplicates. Pick a canonical host, redirect consistently, and emit matching canonical tags.
5. Sitemap and internal links that tell the truth
Ship an XML sitemap of only indexable URLs, submit it, and make sure important pages are linked from real navigation — not only from a sitemap file nobody clicks.
6. Page experience still counts
Slow LCP and jumpy layouts do not kill rankings alone, but they stack against you. Performance work and SEO work overlap more than most vibe projects plan for.
7. Add schema where it clarifies, not as decoration
Organisation, FAQ, Article, and Product markup help when they match visible content. Fake rich results get ignored or penalised — keep JSON-LD honest.
8. Index the content, not the empty shell
If the meaningful text only appears after client hydration, crawlers may see a skeleton. Server-render the copy that should rank.
9. Measure indexing, not vanity analytics
Watch Coverage / Pages reports, query impressions, and which templates actually get indexed. Fix the template once; every page on it benefits.
